This guide explains the differences between the Essential, Premium, Premium+, and Pro plans, including access to AI tools, content, credits, and exclusive features.

Free plan overview

• Access to free content (vectors, photos, PSDs, videos, icons…)
• 10 downloads per day
• Limited access to basic AI tools

Best for: users exploring Freepik or working on non-commercial, light-use projects.

Essential plan

What’s included

• 7,000 monthly or 84,000 annual AI credits
• Access to Freepik's AI tools for generating and editing images, icons, mockups, music, and videos
• Commercial AI license

Limitations:

• No access to Premium stock content
• Flaticon Premium subscription not included
• Free plan download limits apply
• Extra credits cannot be purchased

Recommended for: users who rely on AI tools occasionally and need a commercial use license but not premium content downloads.

Premium plan

Everything in Essential, plus:

• 18,000 monthly or 216,000 annual AI credits
• Access to Freepik's AI tools for generating and editing assets
• Access to all Premium stock content
• Flaticon Premium subscription
• 100 downloads per day
• Commercial AI license

Limitations:

• No access to Topaz Video Upscaler
• No access to SVG downloads of AI-generated images
• Extra AI credits cannot be purchased
• No early access to upcoming AI tools

Recommended for: designers and businesses who use AI regularly and need full access to Freepik’s asset library.

Premium+ plan

Everything in Premium, plus a higher annual AI credit allocation: 45,000 monthly or 540,000 annual AI credits.

Pro plan

Everything in Premium+, plus a significantly higher annual AI credit allocation: 300,000 monthly or 3,600,000 annual AI credits.

Premium+ and Pro exclusive features

• Option to purchase extra AI credits (add-ons) when your monthly allowance runs out
• Higher processing priority for AI image and video generation
• Access to Topaz Video Upscaler for 4K video enhancement
• Unlimited AI image generation and editing with all models (except Google Nano Banana Pro 4K, Custom Character, Style and Object LoRA training, and the Upscaler tool. Flux 2 Max is included until January the 15th).
• Unlimited AI video generation with MiniMax Hailuo 2.3 Fast (768p), Wan 2.2 (480p) and Kling 2.5 (720p) until the 17th of December.
• SVG downloads for AI-generated images
• Early access to new and upcoming AI tools

Recommended for: large-scale agencies, production studios, or high-volume creators that require maximum AI usage, higher-resolution outputs, and early access to new AI features.

How credits work

• Credits are provided monthly or annually, depending on your billing cycle
• Credits are consumed each time you generate or edit AI content
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle
• Only Premium+ and Pro users can purchase extra credits when their monthly allowance runs out

*Premium+ and Pro subscribers get unlimited AI image generation with with all models except for Google Nano Banana Pro 4K, Custom Character, Style and Object LoRA training, and the Upscaler tool.
